Customer Satisfaction
From the beginning of our operations, GEM has operated as a manufacturing company, maintaining in-house and direct manufacturer relationships. Our helicopter and aircraft accessories, including protective covers, cargo nets, and lanyards, are widely trusted by clients across North America and around the world.
In addition to aviation solutions, GEM manufactures sewn products for the forestry industry, including cruiser and surveyor vests, tree planting harnesses, pouches, tarps, and bags. We produce over 2,000 vests annually; each made with high-visibility materials like reflective tape and constructed using durable cotton or nylon. Among our most in-demand products are cargo lifting nets, available in various configurations and load capacities. These nets are manufactured on-site using netting, rope, or webbing, tailored to meet industry requirements.
Custom Designed and Developed
We also manufacture company-designed carrying bags of many sizes, to meet the requirements of the customer. These bags are manufactured from the highest-quality nylon and are noted to be long-lasting products. We have developed the reflective rope safety net, at the request of the Port of Vancouver, to make night landings safer for helicopter pilots, setting down on a floating heliport. The five foot safety net, with two strands of 3M Scotchlite fabric woven into rope, surrounds the heliport pad.
